Crazy Cat Lady - Chapter 8

Katie wished for another vacation, this time to China!

She still had the completely explore a tomb wish from her time in France (can't delete a wish unless I have no spots open and a wish that gives more points pops up) so I had her accept an adventure right away. When going to talk to the old lady about it they kind of glitched into each other.

She wanted to buy a fortune cookie maker so I took this opportunity to get the martial arts equipment as well. Who knows, maybe if I throw it out in the yard she'll use it!

The old lady's quest led her to the Halls of the Lost Army which I just think is a gorgeous place. 

She moved around some cat statues, stuck her hand in random holes, and swam through tunnels until finally... treasure!

Apparently there was a party going on at the old lady's house when she went to turn it in. Being the social person she is, Katie decided to heckle the ghost story teller for a while.

Again she wished to sleep in a tomb so she headed off to the creepy Dragon's Maw!

She slept right at the entrance since it was quite late by the time she got there. When she woke up she went around those statues instead of going through the door.While she was back there some random Chinese dude went to sleep in her tent! He was still sleeping when she finished so she couldn't pack it up.

She explored for a while and got some more treasure. Thankfully enough to make up for the cost of her trip since she only had a few thousand simoleons left and her bills aren't cheap! You can't completely explore this one through unless you go through a long quest chain.

All that adventuring can wear a girl out. Thankfully this time no random people got in bed with her.

After she woke up and got some breakfast she started socializing with this woman all by herself. They had a nice chat and some laughs before the other woman left.

She ended her vacation by picking wildflowers in the forbidden city and then talking to herself for a while. This was one of the only time her insanity showed on the whole trip!

Speed Simself - Update 2.7

A/N: I have terrible news, everyone. I encountered some kind of inventory bug and when they got back to university several items were missing out of all of their inventories. One of the things missing was Erik's tombstone. =( I couldn't find any way to get it back. So that's why his ghost isn't around anymore.

Snow had started falling by the time we got back to school. Tamsin and I both got full scholarships and Savannah got a partial one so we were able to afford our own place. It was farther from campus than our old dorms, but Savannah was able to get us a discount on brooms faster than our old bicycles. 

Soon enough we were back to the daily grind of classes and studying.

 Tamsin was at all the frat parties, like always.

Savannah decided to host a protest against Nessie. 

I went to support her, of course, but it wasn't very successful. We probably should have checked the weather before deciding when to have it. 

We did get one guy to join in, though!

After class I liked to come home and build snowmen. 

This evil one is my favorite!

Before long we had an army of snowmen in our front yard.

Tamsin met up with some of her old hookups and made a couple new ones. She was beginning to get a bit of a reputation but she didn't care.

Bernie was back this semester. I guess he's a magician like Savannah wants to be. 

She may not be out performing tricks yet, but she did get a couple more commissions for street art.

 Tamsin talked us into getting a juice keg and throwing a party of our own. It was a bit crazy to say the least, two people went streaking that I saw. 

Bernie came and Tamsin hung out with him most of the night. Eventually she asked him to stay over.

Turns out it was the first day of spring so this little gnome showed up. 

He seemed pretty happy with how things turned out and ended up staying at our place all weekend. 

The party sure was rough on our fairly cheap plumbing. Both toilets, all three sinks, and our bathtub were broken. I'm maxed out in handiness but just didn't have time to deal with it so hired a plumber for $50. She came before I left for class and was still there when I got back.

One night when leaving another party Tamsin got abducted by aliens!

It wasn't enjoyable by any means, but wasn't as traumatic as you might expect. She was mostly just tired when they dropped her back off.

Savannah has gotten a lot better at her painting this semester. The one she's working on here is a stylized self portrait of her hair.

I tried my hand at writing since both my parents are writers, but it wasn't for me. I was able to get it published but I'm only getting $14 in royalties. I'm still not 100% sure what I want to do for work seeing as playing chess doesn't pay the bills.

 This poor chap got a love spell put on him by Savannah. I don't know who he ended up falling for but I hope it worked out okay.

At the end of the semester we held another protest, this one a hunger strike. It was way, way more successful than the first one! I couldn't believe so many people showed up.

Ugh, report card day...

All A's again!

Finally it was the moment we had been working so hard for: graduation! 

I graduated from the school of technology and was awarded the brave trait. 

Savannah graduated from the school of fine arts and was awarded the artistic trait.

Tamsin graduated from the school of business and was awarded the social butterfly trait.

And now we're headed back home to start our lives as full-fledged adults. 

Crazy Cat Lady - Chapter 7

A little rain can't stop Katie from playing with her cats!

Aww, mama kitty snuggling her baby kitty.

Later Hazel found a fly. I guess that butler of ours has been slacking off! It was pretty cute when she tried to catch it, though.

Katie got an opportunity to deliver two batches of cookies.

After dropping them off she hung out for a a while by this fountain, thinking of the paparazzi dude. I really should write down his name.

He must have some kind of second sight because he showed up a bit later to brighten her day!

Of course then she sat around on her tablet and ignored him >.<

"I would like one kitty please, as soon as possible."

I was sad to see Bella still up for adoption. Of course when Minnie got adopted they must have moved towns because she's not on Katie's friend list anymore nor does she count as one of her cat friends. So that's another good reason not to put anymore kittens up for adoption!

The newest member of the LaPerm household is Majora. She is Hyper, Non-Destructive, and a Hunter.

It's Spooky Day and Katie wished to have a costume party!

She also wanted to carve one of the pumpkins from her garden. 

Katie is a hopeless romantic and she finally had her first related wish, to have her first romance! She approached the other hotdog but he politely declined. 

 She tried to give flowers to the clown but he got upset and their relationship went into the red.

Then to my surprise one of her coworkers autonomously asked her to woohoo! Unfortunately while he was waiting to follow Katie upstairs he decided it was too late and he had to go home. This didn't fulfil her first romance wish though so we can try again another time.

She had two trick-or-treaters, one child and one teen.

That must have been enough to trigger our first gnome!

Birthday sparkles! I realized I had changed the human lifespan to one I consider realistic, but did not alter the cat lifespan. To get the realistic human lifespan I had to put it on epic so they were going to live for a looooong time. I calculated a new lifespan based on 12 years, so now they will be kittens for four days, adults for 32 days, and elders for 12 days, for 48 days total. So Maggie, Heidi, and Abrez grew up at the same time since they were overdue according to the new lifespan. 

Katie became friends with Majora while brushing her. This makes six out of fifteen needed cat friends (since Minnie no longer counts).

 Now that Maggie and Heidi are no longer kittens and can use the stairs they've started sleeping in Katie's room. Sometimes they end up sleeping right in the spot she needs to step in when she wakes up, so she ends up stuck in her bed until they move. I put the beds in places there wouldn't be any routing issues but they don't sleep on them half the time. 

Majora seems to be fitting in nicely with the other cats.

Several days after the party there was still rotting food all over the house! Good God Bridget, what do we pay you for?!

Raking leaves, apparently. All she does all day is rake leaves until she passes out. And then she doesn't even clean up the piles. You should be ashamed of yourself, Bridget! 

Both of the twins (I guess I'll call them since they aren't kittens anymore) and Abrez all picked up fleas before Katie could give them flea baths. I think all the fleas are gone now so hopefully there won't be another infestation soon.

 Lookie! Our second gnome in one update! I guess with so many cats it was only a matter of time before this one showed up. Especially since the butler is too busy pointlessly raking leaves to clean up the cat toys.
