What I've Been Up To

Before I get started with an update on my sims, just wanted to let you know I'm giving away two copies of a book on my main blog. I enjoyed it bunches so you should go enter!

I recently purchased Dragon Valley so I've been playing there instead of with my legacy family. I'm really loving the place and have binned most of the community lots so I can use them in Moonlight Falls instead of the ones I binned originally when I was cleaning the place out. I also want to add a bunch of aliens to my legacy town so I have a save going where I'm collecting them. I've moved in four aliens so far, but only one of them is a woman. I'm hoping to get at least eight even if that means she has to have four kids.

For my Dragon Valley family I decided to make some Game of Thrones sims. I haven't been taking screenshots like I would for a story family which is probably good because then I'd have enough for several updates! I've mostly just taken pics of everyone.

Arya started off as a teen, with the Brave, Rebellious, Daredevil, and Loves the Cold traits. I think she was the hardest to find clothes for since most of my medieval clothing is more girly than she would willingly wear.

Dany has the Brave, Good, Family-Oriented, Loves the Heat, and Ambitious traits. Her LTW is Leader of the Free World and is currently in the political career. 

Jon has the Brave, Loves the Cold, Charismatic, Athletic, and Ambitious traits. Since I am a Dany/Jon shipper his LTW is also Leader of the Free World and thus is in the political career. I downloaded him from here but changed all his outfits other than everyday. 

Ghost's traits are Hunter, Loyal, and Proud.

Gendry has the Handy, Athletic, Proper, Born Salesman, and Friendly traits. His LTW is Renaissance Sim. I made him as an afterthought so at first he wasn't living in the same house and didn't have a job. I've since moved him in and he's in the military career but I'm thinking of making him a self employed gardener instead. I can't think of any professions that are really appropriate. 

Arya and Gendry attended the Summer Festival while Dany and Jon were on a free vacation.

They all made it to the fall festival. Jon and Dany are engaged and Dany is pregnant. Gendry and Arya are romantic interests but he's too proper to take it farther than that with a teen.

Dany gave birth to a little boy named Rhaegar. He takes after both his parents with the Loves the Cold and Loves the Heat traits.

With their son a little older Jon and Dany took the opportunity to get married. 

I hate how they changed to their outerwear to cut the cake. Too bad there's no room inside the church for the reception.

Then because she's a crazy Stark she made a snow angel in her bathing suit. I guess this is a Loves the Cold thing since she's not insane.

Their second son is named Aerys and has the Genius and Friendly traits.

Arya after she aged up to Young Adult. Her and Gendry are officially an item now. She got the Genius trait and the Medical LTW, can't remember exactly what it's called. Since there isn't anything close to what she's actually learning to do I figured she would just be a doctor who really believes in euthanasia.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

The baby's finally coming!

Lucky and Toffee have never seen someone in labor before and are pretty freaked out. 

Braelyn was born with the Good and Friendly traits, not sure if she's a human like her Mama or a witch like her Daddy.

Eve loved having a baby to rock in her rocking chair with again.

She didn't even mind standing up to watch TV. Half the chairs were being booby traps by the kids anyway.

Most of all she was glad to not be pregnant anymore! Time to lose the baby weight.

Bran and Lucky were really enjoying winter. They even decided to sit outside and do their homework in the snow!

Then of course they had to have a snowball fight. Loser does the other's chores for a week.

Toffee was more interested in making snow angels. 

The next day Brenna was having a nice chat with her mom when...

She got the urge to play a little trick on Eve!

"I d-d-don't k-k-know what-t-t yo-o-o've d-d-done, b-b-but yo-o-o're in re-e-eal troub-b-ble missy!"

"Chill out, Mom! It'll wear off in a bit. Get it? Chill out? Hahaha!" 

That afternoon Adam and Eve met everyone after school for a greeting card photo. The baby didn't come because Eve was scared of her being out in the cold so long. From left to right: Broderick, Lucky, Eve, Adam, Brenna, Toffee, Branson.

After the picture Bran, Lucky, and Brenna stayed at the school to do their homework while Adam and Eve made an igloo.

It took them a while to finish, so everyone else had gone home already (or so they thought).

A little public woohoo now and then keeps the romance alive.

When walking home they found Toffee asleep on a bench! Silly girl will catch her death out here.

When Bran got home he sent the babysitter away and started taking care of his little sister. All of a sudden he started daydreaming about what it would be like to have his own someday. 

Brenna decided it was too cold outside to keep working on her portraits, so after a quick ride on the model train she tried her hand at sculpting. 

Not bad, but she knows she has a lot of work ahead of her if she wants to add sculptures to the family history museum. 

That night Toffee confided to Bran that she just wasn't sleeping well in her room anymore. That's why she fell asleep on the bench. "Do you think it'll be alright if I sleep here with you tonight?" "I'm sorry, but I really don't think my parents would understand. Maybe try bunking with Brenna?"

She tried Brenna's room but her stupid fairy wings kept making noise that kept Toffee up. While wandering around the house she snuck back into Branson's room thinking about getting into bed anyway. In the end she decided he was probably right and left to see if she could make a sleeping potion on the chemistry table.

Apparently Toffee left the door open, and a random cat came in and woke Bran up!

"If I give you a treat will you go away?"

Soon it was Christmas and Eve was invited to Tenth and Tasha's house for a feast. She was dismayed to see the toadification had yet to wear off. 

While there this woman started going into labor. Eve took that as a sign it was time to leave and went home to get ready for their own party.

You can't have Christmas without presents!

Bran has apparently been a bad boy because all he got was coal!

Brenna got some scrap to sculpt with. Eve tried to tell her wearing a bathing suit to a gift giving party was inappropriate, but Brenna is insane and didn't listen.

Adam got a "World's Best Dad" mousepad for the computer he does his writing on.

Meanwhile poor Braelyn ages up all alone in the nursery. They were going to bring out her birthday cake after presents, but she just couldn't wait.

After everyone left Branson decided it was time to give Toffee her Christmas present.
