Love is a Riddle - Chapter 11

Even though there were plenty of leftovers in the fridge, Severus just had to cook him some waffles. Thankfully no fire!

Instead of a birthday cake Bella gets... autumn salad? Who knew she was so health conscious! 

I love, love, love how she turned out. Even though her hair and skin color are all wrong and she has a pudding face I think she still looks like Bellatrix! Thank you, create-a-style. She randomly rolled the Photographer's Eye trait. 

Severus this time, and no alien baby for us.

Well that certainly didn't take very long... I thought it would take much longer for someone to go into the fence when the plant was hungry and when it was unlocked. Looks like this was a wise investment!

Tom didn't waste anytime drinking this miraculous potion that would give him eternal life! Who needs horcruxes when you've got cow plants? Well actually I suppose a death flower would be a closer equivalent. This just resets his elder life stage back to the beginning.

Bellatrix get's a ride on the spaceship. 

On Leisure Day they all went down to the Summer Festival. Because they are such good parents, Tom and Liz left Nymphadora sitting in the grass next to the photo booth while they got in a water balloon fight with Bellatrix and Severus.

Afterwards Tom played some soccer with Salazar. Liz and the teens went home but left Nymphadora in the grass for Tom to pick up before going home himself.

Updated family picture time! The family sure has changed a lot since last Leisure Day.

Bellatrix finally figured out she's a witch, and thought her parents bedroom while they were sleeping would be the perfect place to practice.

It only took until two of her kids were teenagers and the third almost one for Liz to get her first promotion! Even though they have a garden now she won't touch it.

Speaking of almost being a teenager, Salazar randomly rolled the Savvy Sculptor trait.

Why does he always age up with girl hair?!

Since I don't really know what Salazar would wear, I figured I would take the opportunity to use some of my Movie Stuff clothes. 

Immediately after Salazar aged to teen it was Nymphadora's turn to become a toddler.

I used her free toddler action to learn how to walk.

How many alien abductions can we get in one post? Bellatrix again.

After the aliens dropped her back off she ran in and cleaned the tub. I guess they made her feel dirty with all the probing so she just had to clean something.

Later Tom teaches Nymphadora how to use the potty. Salazar isn't actually using the bathroom, he just likes to sit on the toilet for some reason.

He's taken up a bit of gardening as well. So far he only waters the plants but he's gotten a skill point.

Yay another skill challenge (+5 points)! Other than births it seems like it's been a while since we've gotten any points.

Love is a Riddle - Chapter 10

"I am Salazar! No mudbloods shall set foot in my school!"

Tom got another promotion and now has four toddlers to watch at once. Liz is occasionally helpful after she gets home from work but gets in the way just as often. 

Tom went for a stroll down to the Arboretum and got some life fruit. It wasn't my original plan to extend his life but my original plan kinda fell through. I figure now that there's a plant in town for harvesting (so he doesn't have to go around searching for seeds) we might as well use that to our advantage.

Soon it was Love Day and the Riddles updated their family photo. They stayed at the festival for a while but nothing interesting happened. Then it started to rain so they went home.

It's time for Severus's birthday! It was a school night so they just had a small party with immediate family.

He randomly rolled the Great Kisser trait, so those girls at prom better watch out!

During the full moon I spotted this zombie playing on her laptop and thought it was funny. =D I probably wouldn't have noticed, but as you can kind of see the university mascot came by while she was out there.

 It's great that there's a bush free for picking at the Arboretum, but it's kind of inconvenient for Tom to go out there all the time. Plus it takes a while to grow new fruit anyway so it makes more sense to have more than one bush. Sadly Tom has no gardening skill so it will take some time before he is able to plant them. He still has a few weeks before his bar fills so he has time.

With the move Severus's grades were reset so he wasn't able to get on the honor roll before aging up, but Bellatrix did (+5 points)!

For some reason Salazar loves to check his bed for monsters. Happens nearly every night! He has the brave trait so I'm thinking that must be why he does but the other two don't. Being brave one would think he would sleep in the bed anyway, but no. So far he's either slept on the couch or stayed up until the scared moodlet goes away so he can sleep in his bed so he hasn't passed out yet. *finger's crossed*

Severus had one of those mood swing days and tried to booby trap the sink while both his parents were standing right there! That's definitely deserving of the moniker idiot. He lost computer privileges for a day.

Liz and Bellatrix have introduced Salazar to the joys of gaming. Basically any time they are home at least one of the three are playing. Severus does sometimes as well but not as often as the others.

Severus would rather work on his spell casting instead.

Because I like to live dangerously I usually have on autonomous risky. I need to remember to turn that off or there won't be room for the heir's spouse and kids! Especially if Severus get's picked.

Another alien abduction at the same time as a surprise pregnancy announcement! He got taken only minutes after Liz woke up. Could there be two new little ones on the way? Spoiler: there isn't.

I had decided I wouldn't get anything else from the store, but since I'm not getting TS4 I figured I might as well get this little guy while he was on sale. It scares me a bit having it near the idiots but I am taking precautions, mostly involving strategic locking/unlocking of the fence. Even with the life fruit I'm not going the ambrosia route so someone getting eaten would help more than eating life fruit every day.

 This is what happens when the restoration ritual fails. Everything in the house that could break or get dirty does, and random trash piles get placed around the lot. After the third time in a row I remembered to buy Tom a more expensive wand. 

These kids love to be read to sleep! Reading is important but it can get annoying. We've had a couple close calls with almost passing out but so far it's only happened the one time when Severus aged up to child.

Labor time! I plan to keep the Harry Potter themed names going but didn't want to keep trying to come up with an appropriate one off the top of my head. I went to the HP wiki and copied down a list of characters, numbered them, and saved it to my desktop. I should have made two separate lists, one male and one female, but I didn't think about it until I was done. So now when a baby is born I'll use random.org to pick the name. If the number I get is the wrong sex then I'll pick a new number until I get the right one.

That being said, the newest member of the Riddle family is Nymphadora (+5 points)! She randomly rolled the Perceptive and Easily Impressed traits.

Love is a Riddle - Chapter 9

The family went to the winter festival in order to get an updated family photo. Would have probably made more sense to move the fall one up and put the winter one on the right, but whatever.

They didn't stay at the festival long though because they were having a gift giving party!

They got another easel, two chess boards (one I sold), and two video game systems (one I sold)

Tom finally got high enough in his spellcasting to learn the restoration ritual! They never need to have a dirty house again, and long gone are the days of being electrocuted! Tip: casting restoration ritual spoils all food in the fridge but restores all food not in the fridge, so pull any food out before casting it.

Neither of the kids have touched the trampoline but Liz loves it! She even got a wish to gain a trampoline skill point. I have a mod that shows all hidden skills but I know they don't get points for maxing them. 

So far everyone has been playing nice with each other. The kids are good friends and like to tell each other jokes.

When Bella isn't hanging out with Severus she's usually playing video games, often with her mom.

Severus loves his imaginary friend doll but thankfully hasn't set it down yet so the IF is still stuck inside.

One morning Bellatrix got up before Tom and there weren't any leftovers so she decided to bake a muffin! She even got one skill point out of it for later. I don't know if the little baker oven can start fires but we haven't had one yet.

I was having a lot of issues with Isla Paradiso, and even had to reset the whole town a couple times. I hate doing that because it's kind of cheaty so I had them move to Moonlight Falls instead. More of their supernatural brethren live there anyway! I am not a builder and never have been but I'm pretty proud of this house. Back at the very beginning I had Tom purchase Hobart's Hideaway to earn an extra $200 a day and then kind of forgot about it, until all of a sudden they had an extra like $60K! Apparently they sold it in the move.

On the first day of his new daycare Tom got to watch two fairies, aren't they adorable?! I still can't believe Sims 4 won't have toddlers... It's a reminder though that Severus's potential girl friend Kimberlee was left behind in Isla Paradiso.

Did you know you can have an adult tell kids to do their homework? I didn't! Sometimes the kids come home and do it autonomously but it's nice to know I can have Tom tell them if they don't (and I remember and he's not really busy with something else lol).

Salazar was so happy he went to the potty all by himself! Good job, right in time for your birthday.

And... he still looks like a girl. He randomly rolled the eco-friendly trait.

After his makeover he looks much better! I'm glad I finally have someone who can pull off these Movie Stuff outfits haha.
