Speed Simself - Update 1.4

With prom coming up soon Cassandra starting scoping for dates. She invited over the only guy she knew, only to find out he already has a baby! She said she has no time for baby mama drama so she'll have to keep looking.

She went to the park to see if any eligible guys were there but no luck. She did make a little spending money playing her guitar though.

The TV broke but luckily Josh was able to fix it. The kids were not really bothered, oddly enough. Liam said books are like watching movies in your head.

Cassandra would rather trash talk her imaginary friend during a chess match. It's too bad she can't just go to prom with Squiggles or whatever she said it's name was. Erik is working tirelessly to concoct an Imaginary Friend Metamorphium potion but he just can't figure it out.

For Roran and Liam's birthdays we decided to surprise everyone with a visit to the Winter Festival. Everyone is growing up so fast and I don't think we have any family photos.

Just in time, too! The boys grew up right as we exited the photo booth. Liam is interested in music now like his sister, but he's not sure if he's going to play an instrument or try his hand at singing. (A/N - Sorry it's so dark! The streetlight went off for some reason.)

Roran on the other hand is more interested in having and taking care of his family.

We all had a great time at the festival! I couldn't participate much being heavily pregnant but Cassandra was content to sit with me by the fire. Liam and Roran stayed close by as well, making snow angels and snowmen respectively.

Josh and Erik spent a while having a snowball fight but I don't think either of them got hits in.

Tamsin absolutely loved snowboarding! She got pretty good at it too. Everyone had such a great time we might have to come back in a few days for Christmas.

Speed Simself - Update 1.3

My mother-in-law passed away. Josh took it pretty hard but we were definitely thankful for the inheritance. It allowed us to remodel the house and add a second story.

It was so nice to finally have two computers!

Not long after that was my birthday. Actually, it was almost everyone's birthday. Since I'm only an adult I can still be happy about my birthday, right?

Josh was pretty pleased as well.

Tamsin was next. You can't tell by the picture but she's much more excitable now.

Then it was Erik. His clothes choices are getting more and more insane all the time. He's lucky the other kids don't pick on him.

Both Roran and Liam started taking after me. Roran is a heavy sleeper while Liam is a bookworm.

I think Liam is reenacting a fight scene from one of his favorite books but I'm not quite sure.

Five kids keep me busy but I can always find time to make funny faces with them.

Liam has already written his first fiction book, and is now working on a Scifi novel!

Tamsin tried to take up painting like her dad and older sister but she's not very good. I know she'll find what she's best at with enough time.

We love watching horror movies together on Friday nights. I know not everyone will agree with my parenting choices but I started watching them at a young age and turned out fine.

Oh what do we have here? Looks like a surprise is on the way!

It's no surprise that our kids would be gamers. I keep telling Cassandra and Tamsin that turning the controller won't actually turn you faster! It is kinda cute though.

Speed Simself - Update 1.2

Cassandra was not happy about having to go to school.

*nom nom nom* "This doll gramma gave me is sooo good!"

Erik would rather chew on his own hand, silly boy.

C'mon baby number four!

It's so cute seeing my little girl painting with her daddy.

Look who came out to play! Cassandra says she wants to make Squiggles real with a chemistry lab station but I don't think we can afford it.

Maybe we can sell this gnome that randomly wandered into our house?

Thankfully it was worth just enough! We'll be eating autumn salad for a few days though.

I found out I was pregnant again on my very first day of work, so I just turned around and went back home.

The twins had their birthday while Cassie was at school. I don't think it went well for Erik, he seems a bit insane.

Tamsin took after her father and became a computer whiz.

We don't have many toys but the kids make up for it with their imagination. Like my mother always tells me, kids don't know they're poor.

Baby is coming! My water broke all over the bed and floor which put me in a nasty mood.

Meet baby Roran. He's a friendly couch potato with my eyes and I think Josh's hair? Can't really tell till it grows out longer.

Another baby is coming! I can't believe I had twins twice in a row. This little guy is Liam and I think for once he got his daddy's hair and eyes!

Ugh, homework. I know they don't like it but thankfully they don't give me much trouble. They can mumble under their breath as much as they want as long as they get it done!

My little girl is growing up so fast! Now that she doesn't have a bed time, you can tell Cassandra is a night owl like me.

Tamsin loves the outdoors so much she plays in the sand even in the rain! Don't worry, I made her come in before she got soaked.

Cassie thinks music might be her calling rather than painting, so we sold her easel and got her a cheap guitar. She says she wants to be a Hit Movie Composer but you know how often kids change their mind at this age.

Speed Simself - Update 1.1

Meet Tasha my simself and her/my husband Josh. I have the traits Hates the Outdoors, Night Owl, Bookworm, Childish, and Heavy Sleeper. My LTW is Surrounded by Family. Josh has the traits Hates the Outdoors, Couch Potato, Genius, Snob, and Computer Whiz. His LTW is Illustrious Author.

I start learning how to cook by making mac and cheese while Josh creates his first not so good painting.

Maybe writing will go better than painting?

Yay our first child! Thankfully we're much more fertile in the sims than real life. =D

It sucks having crappy furniture, plumbing, and appliances. Everything keeps breaking!  Thankfully Josh is pretty handy.

It's twins! Tamsin Loves the Outdoors, is a heavy sleeper, got her hair from her mama and eyes from her daddy.

Erik is friendly and hates the outdoors like his parents. He has my eyes and blond hair, which coincidentally I had until probably middle school when it turned brown!

Thankfully the same day the twins were born Cassandra aged into a child! I don't think three cribs would have fit in our small house. She picked up the genius trait.
