As soon as they got home I had Harry take the aptitude test again. I guess he didn't get enough points in either gardening or science to get a credit award, but at least he got a scholarship.
They were both starving when they got back. This time it was Harry's turn to eat on the toilet. I plan on moving them into a nicer house when they graduate so that's why there isn't any furniture.
And off to University they go! Harry, being the gentleman he is, carries all their luggage. I meant to have them get engaged and married before sending them back but I completely forgot.
When University loaded they weren't able to rent the same house as before! It's the one with the arrow pointing to it. In fact, they couldn't rent any houses at all. They could either rent an empty lot or live in a dorm.
I choose the dormitory because I'm pants at building. It's the same one Tom lived in during my LIAR legacy. I picked it partly for sentimental reasons and partly because it was closest to the Science building.
Again, Harry jogs off to "apply for extra funds". And again, I didn't take pics every day. At the end of their two terms I'll do what I did last time and show their updated finances.
The beginning of a love/hate relationship with Anoki. Hermione interacted with him the most of any of her roommates, but half of the time she was a big meany.
This time I had Harry grab thirty free sodas haha. Neither of them should go hungry now!
While Harry was stealing all the soda picking up the free soda a fight broke out behind him! Hermione was hoping the girl would win, but she didn't.
Hermione: Broom riding really isn't as hard as I thought. I've got 5 skill points now! Almost enough to ride it standing up.
Hermione got invited to Jeffery Dean's party, but I decided to decline. For some reason about 75% of the time my sims are invited to a party not even the host shows up anyway.
I'm pretty sure if Harry uses the "call household to meal" option everyone in the dorm will show up, so poor Harry has to eat alone.
Then it was time to start upgrading the appliances and plumbing! Starting with the most likely to break and possibly kill someone, the dishwasher.
There are I think four different bookcases in their dorm! Hermione is in bookworm heaven.
At least woohooing is still a valid way to get Hermione to go to sleep on time.
I guess that answers that question. Our first alien abduction, but thankfully not one of my sims since they need their rest.
Now that she isn't called to meals anymore Hermione succumbs to her caffeine addiction.
Hermione: Do you even have a brain?!
Um, Hermione, that's the girl that got into a fight the first day of term. I wouldn't mess with her if I were you.
Something was bugged with their lecture and it wouldn't let them attend it. It kept saying they were skipping class when they were sitting right there. If I clicked on the little go to class button thing it would just disappear from Harry's queue. So I had Harry start a study group during the class time. Unfortunately Hermione was too hungry to study so it didn't help her grade any.
Since there is so much more indoors room at the dorm I deleted a few potted plants and had Harry start a garden.
Second attempt at a study session is a go! Even their werewolf dorm mate took part.
Wow, Hermione actually cooking something instead of relying on soda! It was like midnight though not the most opportune time.
Hermione: Does the rook move diagonally or the bishop? I wish Ron was here, even if he does have the emotional range of a teaspoon.
All the girls decided the boy's bathroom was a perfect place to congregate. Poor Anoki just wants to use the bathroom in peace!
They have this little nook in their bedroom where Hermione can read and Harry can play his online social game.
Noooo, Hermione! And you were doing so well. =( Dorm life has brought out the idiot in her. (-5 points)
Whew, great time to complete a skill challenge Harry! (+5 points) And he will live a bit longer, to boot.
Even though he's completed his skill challenge I'm still going to have him exercise. I'd like him to max athletic at least and maybe get the cardio skill challenge as well.
Hermione: *stares right at the camera*
Both of them passed their first set of tests with flying colors, although it was a near thing for Hermione as she didn't autonously study near as much this time as the first. I think there's just too many distractions in the dorm. Hermione took the Saturday off to catch up on her (not school related) reading but Harry still had to keep up his garden.
Anoki: I'm getting real sick of you treating me like trash, Hermione!
Hermione: Well if you weren't so ignorant we wouldn't be having this problem!
Their love/hate relationship turns toward the hate.
